We’re excited to introduce another amazing HarborChase Associate and Lead Life Enrichment Coordinator at HarborChase of Tallahassee—Linda Lewis!

Linda is originally from Orlando, Florida, where she went to school. Her and her husband attended every FAMU football game and she is still a season ticket holder.

Family is very important to Linda – her Great Grandmother, Grandmother, Mom and Dad, husband, nieces and nephews, and her beloved pup, Whiskey. Since she lost her husband, she spends a lot of time with friends and her favorite companion, Whiskey.

The best day of her life was her wedding day – it was supposed to be a small affair but her husband made it into a large community event that went on all night!

She enjoys reading, catching up with friends and family, and loves her job at HarborChase of Tallahassee.

Linda has worked at HarborChase for nine years, and she also volunteered for six years before then. As Lead Life Enrichment Coordinator, she loves making the residents smile—she says it makes everything worthwhile. 

Linda loves working in The Cove. She has learned so much about working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, and she knows that there is nowhere else she’d rather be. It has truly given her a new sense of purpose.

Linda always puts her all into her work – she lives to make our residents happy. She has such a positive outlook on life and carries that enthusiasm with her in everything she does. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began to affect our way of life, Linda has been the light shining the darkness (bringing our ship to shore). She is always working new activities into the schedule to make each day engaging for the residents and she takes items home with her for prepping to ensure that every program runs as smoothly as possible. 

Linda always puts 115% of herself into her work, and she is constantly boosting morale among the other associates and assists in helping out the other departments whenever possible. Linda is heaven sent, a true hero to everyone at HarborChase of Tallahassee. Thank you, Linda!
