We’re excited to spotlight one of our hard-working Maintenance Techs at Regency Park—John Velasquez!

John was born in The Bronx, New York, and lived there most of his life before moving to Vero Beach, Florida. He went to Middletown High School in New York, which was known as the “Marching Middies.”

John is definitely a family man. With three daughters, three young sons, and three granddaughters, he is certainly kept busy and fit! John’s youngest son is 14 and hopes to play music for our residents one day.

In his spare time, John enjoys sports, music, and cooking. In fact, John states that he can out-cook most five-star restaurants (We’d like to be the judge of that competition!).

John has been working at Regency Park for four months. He always keeps us laughing! John's favorite thing about his role in maintenance is being able to visit residents to repair items. He loves being able to see their happy faces when he has completed the task.

John’s favorite thing about working at Regency Park is the atmosphere, cleanliness, and the overall productivity. He says he constantly feels appreciated by the residents, and he appreciates being there, as well.

John takes his job very seriously and he never complains. He is truly a fun person and it’s impossible to be unhappy when he’s around. Thanks, John, for being such a great associate and making us and our residents feel great when you’re around!
