HarborChase of Beavercreek Resident Spotlight | Susan

This month, HarborChase Senior Living would like to highlight one of our HarborChase of Beavercreek residents, Susan! Susan has been a part of our community for over five months, and we are thrilled to have her here!

Originally from Oklahoma, Susan attended graduate school at the University of Kansas, where she met her husband, Jim. After graduating from the University of Kansas, Susan began her career path in law, criminal justice, and cyber-terrorism. During her career, Susan chaired a working group in an American Bar Association project that developed the ITU Toolkit for Cybercrime Legislation for the United Nations International Telecommunications Union. Susan is also a senior principal for Global CyberRisk, LLC.

Throughout her career, Susan has written several award-winning books on cyber-terrorism, criminal justice, and law. She has given several public speeches on the books she has written; many of which went on to become bestsellers!

Before joining us at HarborChase of Beavercreek, Susan was honored with an award for her life’s work! Currently, she is a professor of Law and Technology at the University of Dayton, Ohio, where she teaches law. The University of Dayton is conveniently less than 15 minutes away from our community!

Susan says that her top three favorite things to do are work, teach, and write. She was even kind enough to host a book signing event at our community. Susan can be seen at our community participating in our fitness programs, intellectual problem-solving activities, cooking classes, or you can find her leading a program, as she is passionate about teaching! She also loves to read and enjoys relaxing walks.

Susan is a very independent resident here at HarborChase of Beavercreek and is a very active member of our community. She enjoys helping others by leading programming that stimulates her mind.We are very happy to have Susan as part of our HarborChase of Beavercreek family, and we are so thankful for her eagerness to participate in our community’s events!
